In his first interview since becoming a father for the first time, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, updated CNN about his son, Prince George Alexander Louis. The 31-year-old Royal admitted that the newborn has some trouble sleeping, which leads to William and his wife, Princess Catherine, to have to help him out in the middle of the night.
When summing up his son, George, William said: "He's a little bit of a rascal, put it that way. So he either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger. I'm not sure...He's a little fighter. He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot."
William also mentioned that he always tries to stay grounded and normal despite his lineage. That is why he decided to drive the town car that escorted Kate Middleton and her baby from St. Mary's Hospital to their Kensington Palace home. He also revealed that he changed his son's diaper (or "nappy" as they say in England) for the first time.
Speaking of the hospital, the world's first glimpse at George was when Kate and William posed for cameras and answered questions outside of the Lindo Wing's entrance. William described his state of mind that day, saying he felt "shock and dauntingness" but was on "such a high" with Kate that the two of them were happy to show off their son.
The future King of England added: "It's not somewhere I enjoy being, I know that the position I'm in that's what's required of me to do. And I think it's, you know, it's one of those things...it's nice that people want to see George, so, you know - I'm just glad he wasn't screaming his head off the whole way through."
