British police are re-examining the death of Princess Diana's death after her car accident in Paris in 1997.
The Scotland Yard announced they are reviewing newly received information regarding the Princess of Wale's death.
According to the DailyMail, the Metropolitan Police passed information to the Royal Military Police of a letter regarding former "Soldier N" who claimed to be behind the Princess' death and it was "covered up."
The letter also revealed that the several people knew about who ordered the task, "He (soldier N) also told her (his wife) that it was XXX who arranged Princess Diana's death and that has been covered up."
A statement released by the Scotland Yard said: "The Metropolitan Police Service is scoping information that has recently been received in relation to the deaths and assessing its relevance and credibility. The assessment will be carried out by officers from the specialist crime and operations command. This is not a re-investigation and does not come under Operation Paget."
Princess Diana, boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, and their driver, Henri Paul were killed in the car accident in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris in 1997.
A movie based about Princess Diana will show the singer's love triangles, rocky relationship with the royals, and her last days before the accident.
A movie trailer of Princess Diana's love life during her final years of her life has finally been released. Actress Naomi Watts who has an uncanny resemblance to the Princess of Wales plays out her secret affair with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan and later billionaire Dodi Fayed.
The trailer shows the Princess transitioning from being a married Princess of Wales to becoming a divorced "Princess of the People" traveling the world for humanitarian purposes and enjoying the men she fell in love with on-and-off press.
Although, many people claimed that Princess Diana's presence would be breathe taken, Dr. Khan seemed to be the only one that returned the same affect to her. The Princess went as far to sneak into his apartment wearing wig and glasses and fulfilling wifely duties while he worked 90-hour weeks.
Diana even considered moving to Pakistan, South Africa, or Australia if the two were ever to marry, studied the Qur'an, and met the doctor's parents. Although, their relationship seemed to be stable in her eyes, Dr. Khan couldn't see the same future.
In the film the Dr. Khan character tells Diana, "If I married you, I'd have to marry the whole world as well."
Her bitter breakup may have been the reason why she moved on with Fayed.
