Selena Gomez Twerking Lessons [VIDEO]: 'Getaway' Co-Star Ethan Hawke Learned New Dance Craze from Justin Bieber's 'Stars Dance' Ex-Girlfriend

Selena Gomez has a new movie coming out this month entitled Getaway, where she and Ethan Hawke take part in a thrilling car chase action story. The young pop singer and the 42-year-old Hollywood actor apparently had a lot of bonding time while filming and promoting the film. Some of the stories they shared with each other range from professional to comical. In fact, Hawke says that Gomez taught him all about Twerking!

"The only thing that's new about that is the word!" Hawke said about the new viral dance craze. "People have been shaking their ass [forever]."

"It's true," Selena said, laughing.

Hawke joked: "What are things I've learned from Selena Gomez? It's like my summer report!"

When Gomez was asked the same question, she elaborated a little more than the seasoned actor.

"More than anything I loved hearing his stories because he's been doing this for a while," she revealed. "So I was very wide-eyed when he would tell a lot of stories because it was interesting, and he doesn't realize when you speak."

Then she turned to Hawke and told him, "You use a lot of words of wisdom."

Getaway hits theaters August 30 (the same day as One Direction: This Is Us, though the movies are quite different).
