'Homeland' Season 3 Trailer, SPOILERS [VIDEO]: Carrie Has to Pick a Side, Will She Choose Saul or Brody in the Upcoming 2013 Episodes?

Season three of Showtime's hit thriller series "Homeland" is just around the corner and a new trailer for the 2013 episodes (starting September 9) are sure to get fans' hearts pounding. This new season has Carrie (Claire Danes) in a tough position: she has to choose a side! Will she side with Brody (Damien Lewis)?

Here is how producer Howard Gansa teased the upcoming season of "Homeland" recently:

"[Saul and Carrie's strained Season 3 relationship is] a game-changer, but it will see that the ramifications of what you've seen definitely play out downstream. The Saul/Carrie axis in some ways is every bit as the Carrie/Brody axis. I mean, he is her mentor, her father-figure, and she is his apprentice, disciple, daughter, and all those relationships are tested, are broken, are bent and in some ways this is the story of Carrie and Saul."

Mstars recently reported on the third season of "Homeland." Here is an excerpt:

"She's gone off her meds for all sorts of reasons, which I think she believes strongly in," star Claire Danes said of her character in the upcoming season. "Carrie is always sitting on her own personal ticking bomb. It's just an impossible dilemma because she's not great on the meds and she's even worse off of them."

 "Brody is on the lam," Danes' co-star Lewis revealed of his character. "He's disappeared into a network, a tunnel system...he's the most wanted criminal in the world, arguably at this point; he has to lay low. When you do see Brody, hopefully what will be of interest to the audience is what state he's in. I hope when you do see Brody for the first time it will be interesting."
