Every collaboration that Lazarus pit owner Pharrell Williams has put his hands on this summer has been solid gold: "Get Lucky", "Burgundy", "Feds Watching", "Happy"...the list goes on and on. However, it appears Skateboard P has finally reached the point of oversaturation. He just released an Under Armour sponsored mixtape with none other than former Baltimore Raven, Ray Lewis.
The Natural Born Hitters mixtape is essentially Ray Lewis speeches set to beats and is meant to soundtrack an upcoming film about Lewis' high school years called Ready For August.
Via the description:
Each track is reflective of a key moment in the film, Training, Practice and Pregame. Music and sports have always complemented each other, but have never hit so hard until now.
Guh, Pharrell. C'mon now. It ain't like you needed the money. Especially when Waka and Keef came out with a perfectly acceptable Ray Lewis biography song forever ago (and it doubles as some great hype music).
