An exclusive clip of the "Doctor Who" 50th anniversary special shown at the 2013 Edinburgh TV Special over the weekend has now resulted in a leaked photo of the footage. This blurry picture shows Matt Smith standing with returning Doctor David Tennant and the episode's special guest star John Hurt. These three Doctors are standing tall in the TARDIS (maybe), but with such little detail in the blurry picture it isn't something to get too excited about. Nonetheless, Whovians were pretty excited about this leaked photo over the weekend!

This description accompanied the photo:

"[A] low-res screencap of the 50th anniversary special has leaked online from a clip shown at the Edinburgh TV Festival. Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt's Doctors can been seen together for the first time."

Also, an interesting set of pictures showed up over on Twitter. These are a parently screenshots of the 50th anniversary trailer. In a recent interview, Smith revealed one thing about the November special. He said "Paintings" would play a big role in the new special. Check out this tweet from this "Doctor Who" fan account:

Do you think these are from the trailer or are they just ... doctored (easy joke, sorry.)?

Tonight is the BBC's Proms focusing on the 50th anniversary of "Doctor Who." Most fans are assuming that the first trailer for the special will air. Do you think tonight will be our first look at the upcoming special? It sure would be nice if that happened considering we've been waiting such a long time for it!
