Remember when Azaelia Banks said she was going to stop Twitter beefing and maybe release an album?Us neither. Her latest social media feud is with Mother Monster/squat enthusiast Lady Gaga and it seems to stem from her VMA performance, particularly the seashell bikini look. Banks claims the ARTPOP diva is cribbing from her Fantasea mixtape and subsequent Mermaid Ball shows.
Check it out below:
@ladygaga hmmmm sounds alot like Azealia Banks' mermaid balls.

(#SwineFest is the iTunes Festival, in case y'all are wondering.)
I would also suggestion 4. Paint colored dreadlocks for securing 'under the sea' Boticelli-Punk accessories. More fashion updates to come! X

For her part, it seems Azaelia made her fans angry with the attack on Gaga. A few responses to her "Lady Gaga wants to be a mermaid" tweet:
Hate when @AZEALIABANKS resorts to talking crap about other artists. When will you realize that your mouth has hurt your career?

Where's that album you've been hypeing 4 a year now? RT @AZEALIABANKS: Of COURSE gaga wants to play mermaid again..... Pffft.

Put an actual studio album out and then maybe your opinion will matter, until then you just chirping. @AZEALIABANKS

Azealia may also be mad that her collaboration with Gaga will not be on ARTPOP, Gaga's upcoming album.
What do you think?
