Rumors suggest that ever since Selena Gomez left Union J singer George Shelley an adorable "give me a call" video message, the young duo's been flirtatiously texting nonstop. Now, Shelley even plans on asking the "Spring Breakers" beauty out on a romantic beach date in Portugal! Read on for more deets.

Back in June, Gomez left this flirty message for Shelley on CBBC's Friday Download. Shelley admittedly has a huge crush on the former Disney starlet:

Apparently the two young stars started text messaging shortly after that (wonder if Justin Bieber's jealous at all?). Anyway, Shelley's now ready to make his next move.

The British crooner and the boys of Union J will support Gomez's "Stars Dance" tour in Portugal on September 11. And Shelley's ready to sweep the 21-year-old "Come & Get It" songstress off her feet!

"I will try to call Selena beforehand so it's not too awkward when we meet," 20-year-old Shelley said in an interview with the Mirror. "My perfect date would be to go the beach at night. We could have a little bonfire."

How sweet! The boy band cutie continues, "Selena's one of those massive celebrities who doesn't even know you exist, so I was gob-smacked (she wanted me to called her). I thought it was a lookalike at first. I could feel my cheeks going red and the lads laughed at me."
