Selena Gomez, Austin Mahone Dating Rumors 2013 [PHOTO]: 'What About Love' Singer is Not Boyfriend of Justin Bieber's 'Spring Breakers' Ex Says Source

Selena Gomez has been romantically linked to Union J member George Shelley recently, but no too long ago Austin Mahone was her rumored fling. The 16-year-old singer added some fuel to that fire once again by posing with Selena for a photo after the 2013 Video Music Awards last weekend and then posting it to his Instagram page. Dating rumors have been circling around the Internet but one source is saying that there is no relationship.

"A relationship between her and Austin is not happening," an insider said. "They see each other at different events quite often but in no way have a relationship brewing. As much as they would make a cute couple, its currently not happening. She is focused on her career and hung up on Justin and the aftermath of there strained relationship."

Austin and Selena were apparently set up on a date (or several?) by Gomez's BFF and Mahone's touring buddy Taylor Swift earlier this year. The two were spotted at Disneyland together, which was the start of the dating rumors. Alas, Mahone denied the rumors and instead that he and Selena are just good friends.
