Good news Taylor Swift fans, Swift will be releasing a new song next week! According to Pop Crush, Swift will debut her new song "Sweeter than Fiction" while performing it live at the movie premiere for "One Chance." Swift co-wrote the song with fun guitarist Jack Antonoff and it will be on the soundtrack for the new movie. The movie's premiere is on Sept. 6 at the Toronto International Film Festival and the song will surely make its way online soon after her live performance.

As for the movie "One Chance," it's starring James Corden as Paul Potts. The movie centers around an aspiring singer who becomes a reality show star after appearing on "Britain's Got Talent." According to Pop Crush, Swift's song "Sweeter than Fiction," plays during the movie's credits. Another interesting note about the movie, producer Harvey Weinstein said that Simon Cowell was partly responsible for getting Swift involved in the film. "Simon knows her through the One Direction connection and he thought she'd be touched by the film, and he was right because she was," Weinstein said (via Pop Crush).

As for the song itself, does it surprise anyone that a fun and Taylor Swift duet would have a "poppy" sound? "Actually, it's a good, poppy song that makes the point that 'life is sweeter than fiction,'" The Daily Mail reports. "That's certainly true of Potts's rise from obscurity to national attention on Britain's Got Talent."

The Daily Mail also reports that the movie's star may perform a live duet with Swift at the premiere on Sept. 6th. "Taylor might be persuaded to give a live rendering following the gala screening in Toronto," according to The Daily Mail. "James Corden might even do a duet with her."
