Episode 29 of Big Brother 15 is set to air tonight (Sunday, September 1) at 8pm ET on CBS. Controversial house member Aaryn Gries, who made what many consider racist and anti-gay remarks while on the show, was evicted on Thursday night's show. The 22-year-old college student from Texas has since come out and said she isn't racist, but rather played it up to her just being a Texan. On Sunday night's show a new head of household is elected along with a special surprise competition being unveiled. We have the spoilers for you below.

On Thursday night's episode, head of household Elissa wanted to vote Amanda out of the game, but thanks to her veto Andy was the replacement nominee. In the end; however, Aaryn was evicted from the house in a 5-0 vote. It was after Aaryn was voted off that it got interesting. Aaryn was interviewed by Julie Chen afterwards as she had to face the nation about her controversial remarks.

Aaryn offered up an excuse for her comments, saying that Texans sometimes joke around. "In Texas, we say things," Aaryn explained. "Sometimes we joke and we don't mean it. I feel how bad it is being seen and how I've come across to people. I don't want to seem like that person." Aaryn did apologize to anyone she offended. "I apologize to anyone I offended for that," Aaryn said. "That was not meant to be serious and if I said those things, I feel horrible for that. I regret that."

As for tonight's show, you can stop reading if you don't want to read spoilers.

BuddyTV reports that GinaMarie has been named the new head of household, nominating Amanda and McCrae. Elissa, Spencer, and Andy meanwhile were also picked to play.
