Miley Cyrus vs. Paparazzi: 'We Can't Stop' Singer Calls Photog a C*nt, Twitter Post Goes Viral, Fans Unimpressed by Foul-Mouthed Tweet

They say if you want to control the story, get it out there first. It seems as though "Bangerz" singer and semi-professional twerker Miley Cyrus has taken those words to heart. Yesterday (Sept. 4), it seems as though the former Hannah Montana had a foul-mouther run-in with the paparazzi. Instead of letting the photog leak the dirty details of their exchange, Cyrus took to her highly active Twitter account to let her fans know exactly what happened, and she wasn't making any apologies.

"Just called this paparazzi a C***. So before he makes breaking "news" out of it. I'll just say it. Ha-Ha #C***," she wrote at 6:16 p.m. to her 13.6 million followers.

It's not clear what exactly happened between Cyrus and the paparazzo that cause her to spout off the C-word.

Though Cyrus took control of the narrative herself, that doesn't mean her followers took to the dirty-worded tweet kindly.

"you need to chill. You're from Nashville, not The Bronx," responded @dddanadine. @FrostxBiteXx responded with a simple: "So classy." Other followers responded by, in turn, calling Cyrus the derogatory term. But, such is the wild world of Twitter.

It seems as though Cyrus in unfazed by the backlash to her C-word tweet, as she has yet to follow-up with another social media message.

And, in the words of Cyrus herself: "It's my mouth, I can say what I want to."
