For a man who is seemingly immortal, Pharrell wasted no time to jump to Miley Cyrus' defense. The superproducer who worked with Miley on her latest album 'Bangerz' defended the "We Can't Stop" singer's twerking VMA performance and said we will be surprised by the new album from Cyrus, who he calls "a triple threat."
Check out the video below:
She can act, she can sing, she can dance. And let's just face it, her fashion - when she's doing red carpets, she kills it," Pharrell said.
On Miley's performance at the VMAs, Pharrell pointed out the obvious benefit for Miley.
"It's got everbody talking," he said, going on to say the performance showcased "a slice of her character."
Pharrell also hinted that 'Bangerz' might contain a few country songs.
When you hear this album, you guys are gonna be like, 'Ah damn, we thought we knew.' Keep in mind, dude, she was born in Nashville, her dad is Billy Ray Cyrus and her godmother is Dolly Parton. There's a whole other side that you guys are about to hear," he said.
