Eminem New Album 2013: 'Berzerk' Samples 'The Stroke,' Billy Squier 'Flattered' by Slammin' MMLP2 Track, 'Motor City Madman Alive and Ill!' [VIDEOS]

Eminem's new hit song "Berzerk" samples Billy Squier's 1981 tune "The Stroke." So, how does Squier feel about Slim Shady using his "Don't Say No" debut single? He's flattered by it! According to the 1980s rocker, "Berzerk" is a "slammin' track" that proves the "Motor City Madman is still alive and ill." What a compliment!

Back in August, Shady released the first highly-anticipated single "Berzerk" from his upcoming 2013 album, "MMLP2." Check out the old-school hip-hop inspired track:

"Berzerk" currently snags the no. 2 spot on Billboard's Top 100 digital downloads (check out the full list here).

The "Marshall Mathers LP 2" is set for a November 5, 2013 release date.

Now, for Squier's hit tune "The Stroke," which helped inspire Em's "Berzerk" -

Squier's associate Judy Miller told MLive Detroit in an email on Thursday (Sept. 5):

"Billy's not doing interviews at the moment, but he's pleased and flattered by Em's treatment... slammin' track, great hook... the Motor City Madman is alive and ill." 

Apparently several fans agree... "Berzerk" is still going viral on the web. Can't wait to see what else Shady has in store come November!
