If you were to guess what would be the last pop group to call one of their fans a derogatory term, which would you pick? If you chose Hanson, you would be wrong as of this week. Drummer Zac Hanson, the youngest member of the group, vented some frustration toward an unruly, screaming fan this week and the results were pretty hilarious.
While performing the piano ballad "Lulla Belle" in Richmond, VA, the young Hanson brother became fed up with a rowdy, loud audience member. It looked like the singer was going to ignore the screaming fan, but eventually he gave in and had to address the situation.
"Seriously? I'm singing this beautiful song about a little girl and this drunk bitch is screaming," he said, which made the crowd erupt in applause and laughter. The audience was definitely surprised to hear something like that coming from the straight-laced singer.
He added: "You can go home! I'm going to start that verse over so the rest of us can enjoy it."
From there he jumped back into the song, singing:
"Lula Belle's leaving the ball/ No more reason to stay/ Or people to see/ 'Cause everyone here knows your name/ From the light on your face/ In the frame that hangs/ In the hall where lovely girls go/ Lulla Belle goes"
"Lulla Belle" is a secret track off of Hanson's 2004 studio album.
