Here's an entertaining story involving members of the popular folk rock band Mumford & Sons.
On Tuesday (September 10), Mumford & Sons performed a show at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park. Following the concert, the boys decided to unwind at ATL's infamous strip club, the Clermont Lounge. While enjoying the dancers, multi-talented musician Ben Lovett decided to surprise the crowd with an impromptu performance. Lovett jumped onstage and began belting out a few tunes.
His fellow band-mates found Lovett's actions hilarious... so they decided to mark the occasion by taking photos and videos on their Smartphones. Lounge management and security were NOT amused.
Two huge strip club "house" rules... no touching the dancers, and absolutely NO picture-taking.
Lounge officials demanded the guys put their devices away. They didn't immediately listen, and things got a little out-of-hand.
Lovett accused the DJ of ruining his song after the emcee was "forced" to turn down the music several times during his performence (in order to ask fellow members of Mumford & Sons to put their cameras away).
Lovett started yelling, prompting other guys to react. They all started cursing at strip club employees and caused quite a scene. That's when the club managed kicked them ALL out.
TMZ captured some footage of Mumford & Sons leaving the club:
One member of the Clermont staff can be heard yelling, "Everybody out! Go go go!"
The band has yet to comment.
