Mariah Carey and Nas Cheating Rumors [PHOTOS]: 'Cozy Up, Flirt' at Rapper's 40th Birthday Party Sans Wedding Ring, Nick Cannon Divorce from 'Beautiful' Diva Soon?

According to a recent MediaTakeOut.com report, Mariah Carey and Nas got a little TOO flirtatious at the rapper's 40th birthday party earlier this week. Does this mean that the former "American Idol" diva and her "America's Got Talent" hubby Nick Cannon are headed towards a nasty divorce?

Nas celebrates his 40th birthday on September 14, and the "Daughters" rapper recently marked the monumental occasion at a fancy dinner with some close friends in NYC - including 43-year-old Carey. Check out the party photos here.

It appears that Carey and Nas are just two good pals catching up and having a good time... but of course MTO has to take things one dramatic step further.

Apparently Nas' "intimate" interaction with the "Beautiful" songstress caught the attention of several party-goers.

MTO reveals:

Mariah sat next to Nas all night, and the two whispered to each other and giggled all night. Mariah was also constantly touching Nas - on the hand, or on the head. It looked a little MORE than just regular flirtation.

Now rumors suggest that Carey and longtime husband Nick Cannon are "about to call it quits."

The ultimate kicker - Cannon wasn't at the party, and allegedly Carey wasn't wearing her wedding ring.

Carey and Cannon have a very happy, healthy relationship - they got married in April 2008 and have twin children together Monroe and Moroccan. Back in May, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Disneyland:
