Dina Lohan Arrested for Drunk Driving: Lindsay Lohan Leaves Rehab, Mom Jailed for Speeding and DWI in Long Island, Mug Shot Goes Viral [PHOTO]

Just when things were finally looking up for troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan, her 50-year-old mother Dina Lohan was pulled over and arrested for drunk driving in Long Island, NY on Thursday evening (Sept. 12). According to TMZ, police spotted the infamous "party mom" speeding along Northern State Parkway in her white BMW (going 77 mph in a 55 mph zone). Cops say Lohan appeared intoxicated when they pulled her over - the NYPD officers then tested her blood alcohol level and she registered at .20 - more than TWICE the legal limit of .08. Maybe it's time for the elder Lohan to enter rehab!

Lohan was pulled over and arrested at about 11 p.m. on Thursday evening. After being handcuffed, Lohan was hauled to a nearby police station and ultimately booked on two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of speeding.

Authorities tell TMZ that initially, "Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest." Medical personnel then responded to the scene and determined that she was fine. Lohan quickly "recanted her claim."

Lohan was eventually released to a (sober) friend and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
