Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt are all playing some form of The Doctor in the BBC's upcoming 50th anniversary special of "Doctor Who," entitled "The Day of the Doctor," but will there be any other Doctors in the 75-minute episode? According to a new interview with 5th Doctor Peter Davidson, there is definitely a chance!
"I'm making an appearance somewhere over that period of time but I can't reveal in what," the former "Doctor Who" actor revealed in a new interview with BANG Showbiz. "I can't reveal anything specific about it. I'm not allowed to.
He added: "It is a big year for the show and we're all doing our bit for it. Trust me."

What are you looking forward to the most in regards to this special?
The "Doctor Who" alumnus also shared his opinion on the future of the 50-year-old show. Davidson says there is a chance audiences will get "tired" of the hit series, eventually.
"There will get to a point where people get a bit tired of Doctor Who," he said. "I don't know, maybe it will need a little rest. I'd love to see it carry on but you can never tell."
Will you ever get tired of "Doctor Who"?
Turning the conversation to the fact that his daughter, Georgia Moffet, met and married David Tennant thanks to "Doctor Who," Davison also joked that he and his son-in-law have started a sort of dynasty with the show.
"We're just going to pass it on down the line until one of us pops our clogs," he joked. "It's all ours now - it's the Davison and Tennant dynasty."
