Saturday, September 14 two of NCAA football's most storied franchises face off at 12pm. The Stanford Cardinals go up against the Army Black Knights today at Michie Stadium in West Point, NY. Game time is 12pm and will be airing on CBS. We have for you the odds, prediction, and preview of the game. Keep reading for the TV schedule and where you can watch the live stream online.

Stanford is a national title game contender this season, coming into Saturday's matchup the fifth ranked team in the nation. Obviously a loss today would hurt those national title hopes, while propelling the Army Black Knights into the headlines.

According to ESPN this will be the team's first matchup since Army defeated Stanford 17-13 in 1979. Army hasn't beaten a ranked opponent since defeating a 15th ranked Air Force team beak in 1972.

Obviously on paper, Stanford outmatches Army, but the Black Knights offense has shown a surprising amount of punch this season in their first two games. Stanford will need to be very careful in this matchup, especially going into West Point, where Army will have the home field advantage.

If Army can pull out a win it will be behind their rushing attack and triple-option offense. The Black Knights' offense is all about running the football. You know they are going to run the football and everyone in the stadium knows they are going to run, but they have still done it very effectively this season. ESPN reports that in their first two games, Army has run 106 running plays and garnered 658 yards. However, Stanford is matched up well for the Black Knights rushing attack with one of the better run defenses in the country.

The odds aren't pretty for the Black Knights with Las Vegas odds makers having the Cardinals as 28.5 point favorites according to iSportsTimes.com. I agree with odds makers that Stanford will win, but I see Army making it a lot closer than 28 points.

The game can be seen on TV on CBS starting at 12pm and you can watch the live stream on CBS Sports' website here.
