After a few months of flirting, Selena Gomez and George Shelley finally spent some alone time together in Portugal during the "Stars Dance" tour. Though the two reportedly wanted to have a date on the beach, Shelley's rendezvous with Gomez occurred in the songstress' hotel room. After inviting Union J over to hang out, the two were left alone in the early hours of the morning.

"She invited all the Union J boys and some other members of her entourage to her room and they had a great time drinking and dancing," the source explained. "Selena and George were all over each other and things got very heated. Everyone else left at 2 a.m. so they were able to spend the night together."

The insider added: "Nobody was annoyed with George. After all, he's been pursued by one of the biggest pop stars in the world - it's any lad's dream come true."

Rumors about these two young singers dating started earlier this year when each of them admitted to having a crush on the other. Selena even sent George a special, flirty message on a British talk show.

"Selena's one of those massive celebrities who doesn't even know you exist, so I was gob-smacked (she wanted me to called her)," Shelley said after seeing the video. "I thought it was a lookalike at first. I could feel my cheeks going red and the lads laughed at me."
