Niall Horan, Ellie Goulding Dating Rumors 2013: 'Burn' Songstress was 1D Heartthrob's Secret Girlfriend for 27 Days, Break Up After Ed Sheeran Revelation

It turns out all of these rumors were true about Niall Horan and Ellie Goulding dating! Unfortunately the romance has already fizzled, and the two are both single after about 27 days of dating. Plus, according to a recent interview, it looks like the two have ended things on not-so-good terms.

The 27-day timeline started when the two were spotted at the V Festival, apparently kissing. This might not add up quite right, though, considering Ellie was spotted holding hands with Ed Sheeran at the 2013 Video Music Awards during this time. Sheeran recently revealed he and Goulding were dating this summer. So was Ellie two-timing these singers or is this information just mixed up?

Either way, Goulding did not have a good time with either.

"All men are crap - at least the ones I've been seeing lately," she exclaimed in a recent interview. "I find a lot of men, especially young men, project the problems they had with previous girlfriends on to me, which is really unfair."

That is definitely a good reason to leave a relationship.

Maybe the first hint at a confirmation of this relationship was when Ellie was asked about being seen kissing Horan during the V Festival this summer.

''I just can't talk about Niall," the 26-year-old said at the time. "I won't ever talk about my love life any more because it's always then gone wrong when I have in the past."

She added: ''I've definitely had some 'interesting' tweets since the story came out. Thankfully I'm able to take it all with a pinch of salt because I've been told to be that way. I genuinely mean this - I don't hate on anyone, but at least One Direction fans are very passionate and my fans are very passionate too. I'd hate it if people didn't care about what they thought.''
