On Wednesday's episode of the "Today Show" (September 18), actress Paula Patton appeared to promote her new rom-com "Baggage Claim." She also spoke-out on Miley Cyrus' controversial VMAs performance alongside "Blurred Lines" hubby Robin Thicke. And according to Patton, the viral dance was "wildly great"... what did fans really expect from the "Bangerz" songstress, anyway!? Following the interview, Patton even showed-off her own twerking skills (to the utter amusement of broadcaster Al Roker). Check it out below!

Here's what Patton thinks about 20-year-old Cyrus shaking her booty all over husband Robin Thicke:

"I gotta be honest with you… I don’t know what people thought Miley was going to do, I mean, sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys?” Patton told the “Today” co-hosts. “The song is about taking Molly!”

So really no biggie! Apparently that "Miley Cyrus and Paula Patton backstage fight" was just a rumor. The 37-year-old actress loved it.
