Schoolboy Q sat down with Miss Info after performing at The Fader's #Uncapped show. The TDE rapper discussed his long-awaited Oxymoron album, TDE and having a large, white fan base among other things.
Check out the video below:
"I finally turned it in," the "Collard Greens" rapper said of Oxymoron. "Everyone thought I was having, like, label problems. I just wasn't ready."
The TDE rapper said the album was "his baby" and he wanted to make sure it was "perfect."
Furthering his point, Q claimed that he doesn't put out mixtapes because those are just "tracks that weren't good enough to make the album", adding that the greats would make people wait for new music until their album sounded the way they wanted.
When Miss Info asked about the "typical Schoolboy Q fan", Q laughed and said "Honestly, I have a lot of Caucasian fans. All my fans are from Europe."
