According to ESPN.com's 2013 NFL power ranking predictions, the 49ers currently rank no. 10 out of 32 teams heading into the start of Week 4 of the regular season:
"Colin Kaepernick was 1-for-6 on passes deeper than 10 yards downfield Sunday without Vernon Davis, who caught three of those passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in Week 1."
The Rams currently snag the no. 20 spot:
"Sam Bradford was 6-of-7 targeting Tavon Austin Sunday, all within 5 yards downfield. Bradford went 5-of-17 targeting other wide receivers, averaging 14 yards downfield per target."
Both teams head into Thursday night's game with a 1-2 winning record.
