Rihanna and Teyana Taylor embarked on a VERY heated Twitter feud earlier this week. For more details, check this out:
Although both songstresses have since deleted several of their hateful tweets, things got very serious after Taylor posted this viral photo on her official Twitter account:
For those fans who can't tell, that's a photoshopped image of Taylor "beating up" Rihanna. The image of RiRi's battered face is one taken after her domestic violence incident involving ex-boyfriend Chris Brown a few years ago.
Harsh.
The (now deleted) violent Twitpic immediately sparked a major outcry. Several infuriated fans started a change.org petition to remove Taylor from her Adidas-Reebok endorsement:
Miss Taylor first (before the image above) started sending abusive and offensive tweets/retweets to Rihanna for over a period of 8 hours. This is not about RIHANNA, this is about all the ABUSED WOMEN of the world being MOCKED! IT IS A SHAME that ADIDAS seems to be endorsing @TEYANATAYLOR!
We demand that you do the right thing and terminate her contract and send a strong message to your consumers! Letting one of your sponsors mock a domestic violence victim discourages your female customers from speaking out against their abusers!!!
Many fans found the Rihanna vs. Teyana Taylor feud rather petty and amusing, but when it comes to mocking domestic violence, things aren't so funny anymore. What do Mstars fans think about the whole thing?
