Pearl Jam have finally opened up about their upcoming album Lightning Bolt. While the band have already released "Mind Your Manners" and "Sirens", with accompanying videos for both, they haven't done much in the way of press.
Their first interview about the new album couldn't be to just anybody, so they went ahead and got everybody. Carrie Brownstein, Judd Apatow, world champion surfer Mark Richards and former NFL safety/ current ALS-fighting inspiration Steve Gleason.
Gleason definitely wins the whole affair with his first question (delivered via speech synthesizer).
"Okay, so with my first question... it's been five years since 'Backspacer.' That's the longest stretch between records. What the fuck?"
That's the obvious highlight but the whole thing is worth a watch if you want to see awesome people being awesome in a room together.
