Aspiring rapper Leonard "L'A Capone" Anderson was shot and killed leaving a South Shore recording studio Thursday.
Chicago Police Department spokeswoman, Amina Greer said The friend of Def Jam Recording's Lil Durk left the session and walked through an alley when he was approached by foot and shot in his right thigh and lower back.
News of the shooting flooded the Twitter world once Lil Durk tweeted, "Get well lil bro," and then followed the well wishes with grief tweeting, "rip lil bro" when the 17-year-old was confirmed dead at the Northwestern Hospital.
