Dylan Sprouse Of 'Suite Life Of Zack & Cody' Defends New Restaurant Hosting Gig

Clips of former Disney star and former Top 5 richest child star in the world Dylan Sprouse was photographed at his current hosting gig for an NYC restaurant. The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody star was on the receiving end of a barrage of rumors that he had blown through all his Mouse-related earnings, so he went to tumblr to give everyone a dose of facts.

So many pictures have gotten out that I'm now working as a host at a restaurant in NY. To clear up the air (which is admittedly pretty rude), I did not take this job because I "lost all my money", I am financially secure, and took this job as a way to primarily feed my over bountiful video game addiction. I also too this as a way to try a new experience, working somewhat below the means I'm used to, as well as a way to socialize and get out of the house. I feel most comfortable when I'm working and doing something, to criticize someone of that is pretty odd. I will potentially return to acting someday, but in no way do I think any experience is a step down for me, but rather a new step in another direction. 

Sprouse, 21, is currently studying video game design at NYU and recently revealed why he and his brother chose to bow out of the spotlight.

In the interesting clip, Sprouse claims that they asked for an executive producer credit on the show and came up with a situation where they could bring up a new protagonist to the show. (Also, the twins would go off to college and a job at a used car dealership, respectively, to show kids that there is more than one way to achieve success.)

According to Sprouse, Disney trashed the producer credit idea and then pitched their idea back to them, as if it was the company's own, at which point the brothers walked.
