Her reality show days on The Hills might be long gone, but that doesn't mean Audrina Patridge has put aside her other career goals. The 28-year-old is set to take over former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky's hosting duties of the NBC travel show 1st Look starting in January of 2014.
The show will feature Patridge traveling around the United States as she visits the newest, trendiest and most noteworthy restaurants, nightlife spots and travel destinations.
Audrina recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter in regards to her excitement with this new position.
"It's one of my dream jobs because I love doing different adventures, and I have a passion for trying just about anything, which fits what this show is about," she exclaimed. "I get to bring the audience with me on this journey, and I can't wait."
Patridge will also take viewers into the training process for Olympians and also go to the Golden Globes.
"It's an all-access pass -- everything from movie production to the best dresses to makeup," she says of the behind-the-scenes Golden Globes episode.
"I'll also be going to amazing restaurants that no one has ever really heard of and get to experience how to cook certain things with the chefs," she continued. "The show covers pretty much the whole range [of travel-themed topics]. There's so much to offer for everyone."
"Audrina is the ideal fit for 1st Look with her captivating presence and up-for-anything attitude," Vice President of lifestyle production at NBC Owned Television Stations, Marni Sabia, said. "Her passion for adventure, and her enthusiasm are sure to catch the attention of our viewers every week as she takes on the experiences they want to see."
