Chelsea FC manager Jose Morinho has described today's UEFA Champions League match against Steaua Bucharest as "the game that we cannot lose." After last week's 2 to 1 loss to FC Basel, the Premier League team is certainly off to a slow start in Champions League play. "Even a draw, probably, is not a good result for us, so now we have to prepare ourselves," Morinho said. "We have to get 12 points to be out of any danger, so if we lose there we still have four matches to play and we will have to win them all. We don't want to put ourselves under so much pressure."
"We did not perform well and we lost the game, that's what happens in football," said Chelsea midfielder and star player Frank Lampard. "We have five games left in the group so there's five games for us to put it right."
"I really believe in the squad we have got, the young players we have at Chelsea," he continued. "It is important for everyone to take on board the manager's ideas. I have a lot of respect for him. He has shown how good he is not just at Chelsea but at all his other clubs.
"We are an experienced team, an experienced squad. Even so you cannot afford to underestimate any team in the Champions League. The first game showed that and it's left us needing to win games, starting tomorrow night."
