Swimsuit model Kate Upton and Ukrainian Dancing with the Stars performer Maksim Chmerkovskiy have officially confirmed that they are in a relationship, thanks to some revealing photos. The new couple was photographed holding hands while taking a romantic stroll in New York City.

Romance rumors have been circulating around these two since they were spotted spending time together back in June. They were spotted celebrating Kate's 21^st birthday on an apparent dinner date and the model was also seen cheering the dancer during his opening night performance of "Forever Tango" on Broadway.

But as soon as Upton denied the romance, saying they were "just friends," the gossip stopped. Perhaps this was just a way for the couple to be able to spend more time together without rumors spoiling it?

Kate recently revealed to Elle magazine that her love life was more about living in the moment and not something she thinks too seriously about.

"I really have never had a serious relationship in the industry," the Sports Illustrated model explained. "I'm just having fun. Obviously I have a very busy schedule at this time in my life, and I don't put relationships as a priority."

It looks like Kate was having a lot of fun with 33-year-old Chmerkovskiy and she decided to make things official with the dancer.
