If you thought Earl Sweatshirt's fantastic new album Burgundy meant that Odd Future had turned an introspective corner, the gang would like to have a word with you. OFWGKTA re-stake their claim as rap's most rambunctious bunch of foul-mouthed kids on their new posse cut "Look."
I'll admit it. The part where Tyler stops the track for fear of "scaring kids and shit" had me laughing. Also, "paint job that's flatter than Miley Cyrus' ass" is straight art.
While decidedly less playful, Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis and Earl Sweatshirt all turn in great verses that do a fair bit to remind us why we let this bunch of punks into the pop culture discussion in the first place.
What do you think of "Look", the latest from OFWGKTA?
