Unfortunately, it was as we all suspected. Glee star Cory Monteith's official cause of death was "alcohol and heroin toxicity."

Two and a half months after the actor who played Finn on FOX's hit show was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room, the coroner's official report has been released.

The conclusion, made by coroner Claire Thompson:

I find that Cory Allan Michael Monteith died in Vancouver on July 13, 2013 of combined heroin and alcohol toxicity. I classify this death as accidental and make no recommendations.

The report claims that a spoon with drug residue, a used hypodermic needle and empty champagne bottles were found near Monteith. The whole report can be read here.

FOX is planning a special tribute episode of Glee titled "The Quarterback." Monteith was 31.
