One Direction's Niall Horan Knee Injury [VIDEO]: 1D Heartthrob Apologizes to Fans on Twitter for Staying inside Australian Hotel

One Direction's Irish heartthrob, Niall Horan, recently took his Twitter account to apologize to his fans. The "Best Song Ever" singer had to miss his fans and stay inside his Australian hotel due to his reoccurring problems with his knees after surgery last year. The aches and pains apparently aren't gone, forcing Niall to rest it off instead of meeting fans.

Meanwhile, Niall and his bandmates recently revealed some funny incidents of fans trying to get a glimpse of the 1D boys.

"Someone tried to give me her house keys today," Liam Payne explained. "There wasn't even an address on them. She just said, 'Take them.' What did she think was going to happen?"

"I don't think there's anything weirder than getting into a bin," Niall said, referring to one fan that tried to see the boys by smuggling herself into a hotel where One Direction was staying. She hid in a trashcan!

Also, a video posted on the band's official Instagram account this week showed Horan rapping to "Gangsters Paradise" with pal Liam Payne.

Niall joked: "I'm just waiting for Kanye to get in touch."
