Taylor Swift recently revealed that she might not ever want to have children. Though the 23-year-old might not have to worry too much about such a subject so early in her adulthood, she has considered it and is willing to talk about it.
"I love children," Taylor said. "But I don't know if I'll have them, especially not anytime soon.''
She added that she can't picture herself starting a family ''without visualizing who I'd build that family with."
Her most recent interview with Glamour UK has resulted in plenty of newsworthy quotes and rumors. One snippet released takes a deeper look into the "I Knew You Were Trouble" songstress' love life and how she pretty much resents her past relationships due to how the world views her.
"Well the way it works, as I've learned recently is if you reach a point in your career where things are going very well, public perception needs a 'Yeah, but'," she explained. "Like, 'Yeah, but she's been on a lotta dates apparently.' 'Yeah, but I hear she's crazy.' I think you'll find it has a lot to do with being a woman," she explained. "And I resent that. That there has to be some downside to your personality or lifestyle if you're a woman and successful. But I'm not gonna say to my guy friends, 'No, I can't go to lunch because people will say we're dating.' I just reject the idea I have to change the way I live my life."
Taylor also revealed that she feels more at peace now that she's been single for quite some time.
"Right now is easy because I'm single and happy," the singer said. "It's very relaxing."
"Relaxing" is definitely something Swift needs to do these days after wrapping up her North American leg of the "Red" tour and suffering from continuous dating rumors. The "22" songstress was recently linked to actor Brenton Thwaites, but this Glamour UK interview seems to have disproved this dating rumor.
