Fantastic Four is in the process of a film franchise reboot and this week FOX has lined up some actors eyed for the leading roles in the films. These shortlists include some choices for the characters of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), and Johnny Storm (The Human Torch). No word yet on who FOX is looking at for Ben Grimm (The Thing), yet.

For Reed Richards, A.K.A. Mr. Fantastic, the following actors are reportedly being considered: Kit Harington (Jon Snow on HBO's Game of Thrones), Jack O'Connell (Cook from Skins) and Miles Teller (The Spectacular Now).

Teller's name has been linked to this role and project for quite some time now, so consider him in the lead. Though the addition of the "edgier" actors could mean that this reboot is going in a different direction than we had originally thought.

For Sue Storm, A.K.A. The Invisible Woman, the following actresses have been named to the shortlist: Saoirse Ronan (Hannah, Atonement), Kate Mara (House of Cards) and Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street).

There is only one name attached to the Johnny Storm, A.K.A. the Human Torch, role, and that is Michael B. Jordan. Fantastic Four's director is Josh Trank who previously worked with Jordan on Chronicle, so it's nice to see the young actor remaining in the lead for this role despite his race. There is sure to be a lot of controversy with this casting (if it actually goes through), but Jordan is one of the best young talent's we have today so we should let this happen!

This project is reportedly getting a rewrite from Jeremy Slater's original script, with FOX bringing in Simon Kinberg. Expect more updates on Fantastic Four as they develop.
