Rick Ross recently jumped on an MMG remix of Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" turning down his trademark hustling persona to match the soft, synthy vibes of the track.
While you might the hushed tones of the Nothing Was The Same single to lead to a calm, introspective Rozay, the Bawse is the same as ever, just quieter. Ross starts out with a line about "f**king like she mad at me" and carries on from there. Which is good, because the last thing this world needs is another Drake clone.
Ross went from "flip a table, fight the whole club" to "sit back and count my riches" on this song, without letting the song's inherent Aubrey-ness creep into his delivery and the overly doughy original got a boost from it.
