2013 breakout artist Lorde posted some controversial comments on her Tumblr page recently, calling out pop artists Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift specifically. The young singer said Gomez's lyrics promoted anti-feminism while Swift portrays an unattainable image for her fans. Lorde has backtracked a bit on her statements, but she still said them and fellow pop singer Cher Lloyd has a bit to say on the subject!
"Why does she have to go do that? She's doing so well - what a knob," Lloyd said when asked about Lorde's comments in a recent interview with J-14.
The "Want U Back" singer continued: "I think she's going to eat her words, which she obviously already has, and I think for someone who's gaining so much success so early, she should be considering herself lucky, it takes a lot of work. If she said something about me, it'd be a different story. I wouldn't stand for any of that, I'd be straight back on it."
Gomez actually did address the comments recently, to which Lloyd responded: "Good for her. I probably would have used foul language."

"There's 2 different kinds of criticism. There's the people that hide behind a computer and want to say endless amount of things but never say it to your face, and then obviously there are the vocal ones. I appreciate everybody's opinion, especially because I've covered her music lots of times," stated Gomez.
