The first of what will surely be a lot of videos and photos from the filming of the highly anticipated "Batman vs. Superman" movie has made its way online. The Warner Bros. film, directed by "Man of Steel's" Zack Snyder, reportedly was filming for "Batman vs. Superman" Saturday night in Los Angeles at a local college football game. For fans of "Dark Knight Rises," you may remember that football games aren't safe. According to ComingSoon.net, this was the first day of filming for the 2015 blockbuster. The good news for fans is there is video from the first day!

Batman-News reported that Warner Bros. was indeed calling the film "Batman vs. Superman." Filming took place at East Los Angeles College's Weingart Stadium during halftime of their game. The stadium was turned into Gotham City University for their game against Metropolis State University.

Batman-News reports that Warner Bros. said that the scene being filmed would be the opening of the movie. There were two plays taped, which included a tackle for a lass and a touchdown pass. These plays were followed by the benches clearing to break up a fight. SadPuppyProductions reports that fans in attendance were given Gotham Football shirts to wear in the scene. Apparently, none of the main characters were present. Sorry fans, no Henry Cavill or Ben Affleck.

"Batman vs. Superman" is set to be released July 17, 2015. Obviously there is still a lot of time before the big release, which means there will be plenty more news and rumors for fans. The latest rumors surrounding the film involve the film's potential casting for the role of Wonder Woman. Latino Review recently reported that the film has narrowed down the list of actresses to four for what could be the role of Wonder Woman. This seems to still very much be in the rumors stage, but stay tuned to see if Wonder Woman is announced for "Batman vs. Superman."
