Angel Haze Takes On Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 'Same Love' With '30 Gold' Freestyle

Yissssssss. Finally, we can hear what "Same Love" sounds like in the hands of a competent rapper. As part of her 30 Gold series, Angel Haze put her spin on the beat from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' smash hit "Same Love" (and, like always, she kills it).

The track maintains Ryan Lewis' excellent production and Mary Lambert's killer vocals on the hook, but replaces Macklemore's whole "not being very good at rapping" bit with a very personal story from the rising femcee, who has handled questions about her sexuality deftly.

If the LGBT community are going to have a song to rally around, shouldn't it at least be a good song? Thanks for this, Angel.
