X-Men Days of Future Past Trailer Sneak Peek [VIDEO]

The full trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past will land online on Tuesday, Oct. 29, but Fox has released a six-second preview of the full trailer on Instagram.

The trailer, which you can view below, features Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) as he gets sent back in time into the body of his younger self. The multiple quick shots in the preview clip include Jennifer Lawrence as a young Mystique, the scene in which (presumably) Wolverine's mind gets sent back into his 1970s self, a young and tortured Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) using Cerebro, young Beast/Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), young Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Storm (Halle Berry) with short hair, older Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and new X-Men uniforms.

The film is somewhat based on the storyline form The Uncanny X-Men issue Nos. 141 and 142 in which Kitty Pryde's mind is transferred to her past self in order to change history and stop an apocalyptic future caused by Bolivar Trask's Sentinels. Peter Dinklage will play Trask in Days of Future Past, though Wolverine is the one who makes the trip through time in the movie.

The movie boasts a rich cast, including Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Halle Berry, Lucas Till, Daniel Cudmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Boo Boo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Evan Peters, Adan Canto, Josh Helman and (possibly) James Marsden.
