Mariah Carey reveals sexy 'The Art of Letting Go' single cover; former 'American Idol' judge kneels on beach in skimpy netted swimsuit [PHOTO]

Mariah Carey is slowly preparing for the debut of her new single "The Art of Letting Go." Following the "#Beautiful" singer's announcement earlier this month that a new track was on the way, Carey debuted the single's cover today on Facebook. And it is one sexy, beach-themed shot.

"The Art of Letting Go" single cover (posted above) features a slender, sexy Carey in a netted one-piece bathing suit. She kneels in a body of water in the middle of a sunset as a slight shimmer surrounds the border of the cover. Her name appears just above the water line in her signature font, whereas the single title, "The Art of Letting Go" is scribbled in white cursive on the lowest line of the photograph.

"The Art of Letting Go," will makes it official debut on Mariah Carey's Facebook page on Nov. 11. Carey made the announcement on the social media site on Oct. 14, saying the personal song will get the perfect debut on her official Facebook.

Carey's official page has 14 million likes as of press time.

The single comes in the wake of Carey's cancelled album of the same name, The Art of Letting Go. Originally due out in winter 2013, the record was delayed until July 23 and the indefinitely in June.

Despite the album that sits in limbo, Carey keeps trucking along with new music. Before the album was delayed, the former American Idol judge released the slow burning love song "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel.
