Psych-country rockers Beachwood Sparks have been around for quite a while and built up a sizable following in that time. However, since their formation in the late 90s, there is one thing even the most hardcore Beachwood Sparks' fans haven't heard, the long-lost, shelved album Desert Skies that would have served as their debut had it been released.

Luckily for everyone, the album has been unearthed and is finally getting a release via Alive Natural Sound on November 26. You can check out a never-before-heard album cut called "Watery Moonlight" over at SPIN.

The track sounds like a perfect mix of jangly psych revival with vocals that are, well, watery and sit just below the instruments in the mix and a healthy dose of pop sensibility. If "Watery Moonlight" doesn't get you pumped for the new album Desert Skies, I'm not sure we can be friends.
