Lindsay Lohan's sister Ali is branching out from modeling career into music again with mom Dina managing

Ali Lohan (the younger sister of actress/rehab patient Lindsay Lohan) recently got into the world of modeling but can't seem to shake the urge to sing. The 19-year-old is reportedly getting back into the music industry with an upcoming third studio album. Though she is happy with her modeling career, she wants a "change" according to a source. Another change with her career might not surprise you though: her manager is her mother Dina.

"She enjoys modeling, but she's ready for a change," an insider recently revealed. "She's a performer at heart."

Again, this will be Ali's third album after her previous records Christmas with Ali and Lohan Holiday. Perhaps we'll get this new album in time for Christmas since that seems to be Ali's wheelhouse. As of now we should just treat it as a regular record, though.

"Ali wants to be taken seriously and is ready to put everything she has into this record," the source said. "Ali wants her new sound to be Miley Cyrus meets Lana Del Rey."

This rumored album does not have a title or release date yet.

In a recent interview with WWD, the model explained that she hoped to step out of the shadow of her older sister, Lindsay.

"I would just like to be known as my own person," she explained. "I don't need to ride on any coattails. I just want to make my mark myself. I definitely have to prove myself, just showing up on time and doing everything that you're supposed to do."
