Stevie Wonder has revealed that he will be releasing two new albums, the first from the soul legend in eight years, in 2014.
Wonder plans to take the albums in a brand-new direction. Countless Hip-Hop and R&B artists have been inspired by Stevie's near-unapproachable run of '70s albums and it appears that inspiration has come back around to Wonder, who claims that his latest will be inspired by the genre's at times political leanings.
"I listen a lot to rap, and I'm inspired to take it, to use it in another way, to get the message across," Wonder said.
Wonder's most famous contributions to the rap community so far have come via samples. The most notable uses of Wonder's music among the Hip-Hop community include Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise", Wu-Tang Clan's "The City" and Jade's "Don't Walk Away."
