The comedy duo of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, better known as Tim & Eric, will soon have their third series on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim as the network has greenlit Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories, a fifteen-minute live-action dark comedy series.

Deadline reports that Heidecker and Wareheim will write and direct the series, which will "delve into fantasy and the unknown with the aid of celebrity guest stars." Heidecker and Wareheim added that "it's good to be home again."

Adult Swim piloted the show in May when it picked up the half-hour Halloween special Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories: Zach's Haunted House (among many other series and specials), which starts the aforementioned duo and Zach Galifianakis and airs at midnight on Thursday. The three wrote, directed and star in the special. The plot follows the three as they are thrilled to learn that their grandfather left them each $1,000 in his will. The catch, though, is that they must live in his haunted mansion for the rest of their lives to get the money.

The duo had two shows on Adult Swim in the past: the animated Tom Goes to the Mayor and the live-action Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Galifianakis was a regular on the latter show, which boasted guest stars including Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, Will Forte, Ben Stiller and Flight of the Conchords.

Production on Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories will start in Los Angeles in February. Heidecker and Wareheim will also executive produce the show.
