Lady Gaga, Teddy Riley...What are two names I'd never thought I'd write in the same sentence? Turns out I was as wrong as I am in any argument with my girlfriend about that one. Teddy Riley is suing Lady Gaga over royalties to the song "Teeth" from Gaga's album The Fame Monster.

Actually, if you listen to the track you can hear the skank-y horns that are sort of Riley's thing...hmmm.

Riley (who performed in the group Blackstreet and is largely credited with the invention of New Jack Swing) produced the song for Gaga and alleges he was supposed to receive 25% of the writing royalties from the track. He says he hasn't seen a cent and is suing for $500,000 and punitive damages.

Gaga, who is gearing up for the release of her latest album ARTPOP, has yet to respond.
