On Kendrick Lamar's epic "Control" rap verse, the Compton native does NOT mention Nicki Minaj on the list of rappers he's "tryin' to murder" in the game. Check it out:
Lamar includes Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, and Big Sean among several other prominent rappers... but not Minaj.
So, what are the former "American Idol" diva's thoughts on that?
"He may be one of those respectful gentlemen that probably felt like, 'I don't want to say a female's name.' Or maybe he just don't think the kid is ill. But the kid knows the kid is ill, so I don't need to be on nobody's d*ck," Minaj tells Power 105.1.
What about Lamar deeming himself the "King of New York?" Well, Minaj had something to say about that too:
"I'm the Queen of New York; I'm the King of New York... Let me tell you why: platinum albums. Albums. Plural. Number one in five motherf*cking countries. Don't play with me. You better respect my motherf*cking gangsta, b*tch. When you got an album that goes number one in Japan, the UK, Australia, America and Canada at the same motherf*cking time, then you can speak my motherf*cking name."
But apparently the "Starships" songstress was just kidding (although she still thinks Jay-Z outshines Lamar). She later tweeted:
@NICKIMINAJ: "Lol. I'm going to post the full interview. It was all in fun. For the record, Hov is the king of NY in my eyes."
Lamar has yet to respond.
Here's the interview... Minaj also talks about working with Eminem and Drake:
