Shufflin' indie rockers Bombay Bicycle Club have just released "Carry Me", the first single from their as-yet-untitled new album. The track shows the band moving in a decidedly different direction from previous releases, with "Carry Me" sounding like a mix between the pop-warrior chant of Bastille, late 90s house and softspoken indie vocal delivery.

The new sound was intentional, with BBC striking out for a middle-ground between under-the-radar elitism and top 40 pop.

"I feel like we've found the balance between making it interesting and intelligent, but also not highbrow or elitist," frontman Jack Steadman told NME.
